Beef whole, half or quarter carcass
The most economic way to fill your freezer and try all beef cuts!
All prices include butchering, portion cut & cryovaced and delivered to your door.
Whole animal-Approximately 250kg x $15/kg dressed weight*
Half animal- Approximately 125kg x $16/kg dressed weight*
Quarter- Approximately 63kg x $16.50/kg dressed weight*
*The final amount is calculated on the dressed weight of your animal. Normally a steer will yield 65-70% usable meat from dressed weight. This is what is portion packaged and in your fridge!
Once your animal’s weight is known, we will reimburse you if it is under the paid weight, or you will be invoiced if it is heavier.
You are able to fully customise the butchering, choosing from more steaks or roast or pretty much any cut you can think of we will make happen! You can chose your option when checking out.
Your order will be cryovaced into portion cut sizes, with mince and snags in 1kg lots. We can do diced beef, steakettes, crumbed steaks and rare cuts such as tri tip and skirt steak that you won’t find in supermarkets, plus more!
The final price is calculated from the bone-in weight (dressed weight) prior to processing the carcass into individual cuts.
Below is real example of a breakdown of 1 whole animal and the amount of beef you would receive. In this example the dressed weight of the animal was 342kg, and the customer received 272kg of usable meat, plus the bones if required. It’s simple math for a half and quarter animal and clients would receive the same portions of beef. (Please note the offal is no longer available)
