We are a family owned and operated cattle station and have been running cattle in the McKinlay region for over 30 years. We are excited to be able to showcase our premium product and provide you, the consumers, with an ethically raised free range meat directly to your front door. A taste of the real outback.

Angus, the brains behind Horizon Grazing, has spent the majority of his years in the North. Angus grew up on “Redland Park” where his parents, sister and brother-in-law now live. It was while working on "Redland Park" and various other jobs in the beef industry, his dream of being able to bring his family’s ethically raised meat direct to consumers started to grow. 

Angus met Jo when she was nursing in Mt Isa, originally from a cattle station at Goondiwindi, Jo has a massive passion for the outback and the people who live and flourish out here.

Angus and Jo are so happy to be able to live on the land, on the property next door to where Angus grew up and raise their daughter, Louie. Jo says “It’s been pretty amazing to watch Angus’ pipe dream of many years coming to fruition. I couldn’t be more proud of him and the beef we produce”.
